McFadyen Music Studio

My name is Sarah McFadyen. I have lived in Galt, CA since 1988. I began piano lessons at the age of seven and started teaching lessons at age 15. I joined the Music Teachers' Association of California as a student member when I was 16 years old and in 2001 became a certified member. I have served as the Secretary, Vice President, and am currently the President of the San Joaquin County Branch of the Music Teachers' Association of California. In addition to teaching piano lessons for approximately 30 years, I have 15 years experience teaching music classes to young children (ages 2-6 years old). 

I have enjoyed volunteering as the accompanist for McCaffrey Middle School's choir for several years. Because I have such a love for Galt and teens, I helped establish the Galt Teen Center non-profit organization. I am currently serving as Vice President. I have four amazing children who are now adults. 

I truly enjoy teaching and love how each student has their own unique personality. I feel very fortunate to be a musical coach to so many amazing children, teens, and adults!
